welcome to gotham city

MORE batman mini dudes, 28 of them i'm counting. the batmobile counts as a character.
im sure the costumes are all way off and some are more deformed than others. but for some reason, i have no problem improvising costumes and features for Gotham characters. i figure if they looked cool to me, that was fun enough. unlike the marvel one i did here, where i actually had to go out to look for costumes and ref what they kinda look like.
also, i actually tried to do a step by step of this that i'll post as soon as i get more time.
anyway, these are all my favorite gotham guys and gals, the penguin pose you've seen before is here
alfred is my fav on this. He was inspired by Duckworth on Ducktales.
22" x 15", 300lb softpress watercolor btw.

Ah no, now im gonna have to spend more money on another one of your prints!!
That is just great. Really Really fun pick Dustin, well done
wow..just wow, the attention to detail is quite awesome, and the small things like hush's pendant and the throwbacks to the animated series make this quite the impreesive piece. By the way, this is my new wallpaper and i dont see it changing anytime soon, so thank you very much.
This is the best!
As usual, amazing work! Where can we buy a print? Also, curious about your take on The Dark Knight. I saw it last night at my local IMAX, and was amazed - first movie I have seen that has actually lived up to all the hype given to it.
Goddamn you are awesome. I love your stuff.
dustin...

Found your site through Newsarama-love this painting! Are you planning on making any prints?
...Or selling the original?
(PS-I gave you a shout on my blog!)
I love the piece, but who is the little girl on Clayface's shoulder?
Your watercolors are beautiful. Thank you for inspiring me.
is the young girl on clayface the piece of clayface from the animated series?
that was one of the best episodes for sure, but it has been so long since i have seen it that i do not remember her outfit.
I love it, this is awesome! I love your work, can't believe I just found your blog. Anyway we could get this as a print?
Thanks!
Man Dustin, your work just keeps on getting better. I love this collection of characters and the personality you give to each one. I also really like your use of watercolor lately. Great work!

i love this!!!
ZOMG! It's sooo GORGEOUS! I'm gonna print it on the fancy matte paper that came with my printer!! AND at max. quality! I heart this SOOO MUCH!
hey guys, thanks everyone for really diggin this as much as i enjoyed creating it. i guess you can tell i kinda like batman by now.
for those questioning, the little girl on clayface is "annie" from teh animated series, episode from " growing pains". she's clayface, or moreso, his daughter alter ego?
somethng of that sort.
as for prints, come get'm at san diego!
Maaaan, I love your work! I love your lines. All the lines needed. Nothing more and nothing less. Every character has so much personality. Yes, even the car. Beautiful!

Hi Justin,
I love your drawing! The Batman Animated Universe is probably my favorite incarnation of Batman. Just one question - who is the guy in yellow on top of the Batsignal (standing next to Zantana and the Batwoman)? That's the only one I can't quite place.
Awesome!
Hi,
I really like the art prints of both Marvel & Gotham... However, I can't get to SD from Belgium so easily... There a chance you'd sell them directly?

Thanks
