Whoa Dustin! Your Batman illos OWN! You do the character justice! All of you Wildstorm affiliates really knock this character out of the ballpark. Excellent job!
i've been a fan of the bat since i was a kid and i honestly wish the books looked more like this. Great work, man.
Batman and Robin are awesome!
Yeah, considering you draw the Batman better than 99% of the rest, I don't mind it becoming a Batblog. Plus, Didio left a cryptic comment in one of his latest DC Nation's saying that he wanted to see you on the bat. I can say that he isn't the only one. Now I just have to find out how to get my hands on some Nguyen Batman artwork...
Nice pieces, but one thing that always bugs me is how so many people draw Robin as a young kid rather than as the 16 or 17 year old he is. Just a style thing to emphasis his youth and to make Bats look bigger?
That is One Hell of a Mr. Freeze!!!!!!!

"i know.. this is becoming the batman blog almsot."- dustin
so be it.

thanks guys, i never get aorudn to workign on stuff for myself too much, so when i do, its way fun.
jogfrog- ive no idea why everyone else draws robin all young, but i do it cause i really enjoy drawing characters on the extreme end of the age groups. i did a variant for the upcoming book TRANQUILITY for WS, really really old folks. i guess get a kick out of drawing really old folks and young kids. power pack rules btw...
oh yeah, mr freeze isnt missing the dome, i'll put that in when i color'm up!
Great artwork,
typical Dustin design.
I like it very much!!
Please more stuff!!
best regards from germany

I really think that they should let you be the style guide person to the bat-verse, Dustin. Your takes on the classic Bat villains are superb, like the ones you did for your As The Crow Flies arc, and the Mr. Freeze here.
Regardless, the Freeze is good.
And I like the age you use for Robin. I always envision him as a kid, because it doesn't feel right that all these Robin's are growing up, but Batman is supposed to be the same age (or a "little" older).
Also, I'm sure you can't talk about it yet, but I hope what Didio said has you coming to the bat-verse in the near future.

your grasp of negative
and positive space
along with the
bat family attitude
is quite lovely
i don't mind the batman images at all. thanks for the updates. oh, I just finished issue 5 of Manifest Eternity. It totally kicked booty!!
Yeah,Duss, I saw this Mr. Freeze piece many weeks ago and it knocked me right out of my chair and I have been nursing my dislocated hips ever since.
The conposition and contrast are near perfect!
hey thanks guys, and thanks to everyone who was able to pick up manifest eternity this month as well.
