its hard as hell to get a decent scan of watercolor though, ivy's skin is all off. im gonan try to reshoot it with a camera or something. iv'e also never workd at 16x22 paper before either, sucked to scan.

dang it, i love the way you draw!! Your female characters are some of the best to me. I understand what you mean about scanning. My lexmark 3n1 sucks so much that I can't get a decent pencil scan. (currently searching for a good scanner.) I think you were supposed to have been at the last Heroes Con here in Charlotte. I didn't get to go but hopefully I'll see you next June.

dustin,

aw man; my eyes are stinging (literally); i think because i haven't blinked in about 5 minutes (really).

it's been a couple months since i've checked out your blog.

my brother-in-law went down to SanDiegoCon, and he called me and asked if i wanted anything since he was there;
i told him you were there, and that you were selling your snow globe drawings (specifically the gotham girls - did you sell it? or is it still for sale?)

he called me; told me how much it was; i told him i couldn't afford it.

anyways, that was the last time i checked your blog.

...

checked it today: noticed the gallery: feast for the eyes! (applause!)

awesome!

...

technical question: i love the interface you're using for your gallery; is it (the code) something you wrote yourself? or that people can acquire online?
where can i find out more info on it?

particularly, i like the simplicity of it; it's smooooth.

...

what are you working on these days?

anyways, hope you're doing well;

thanks again,
and i'll be checking your blog daily again,

thanks guys, these are always my two favorite characters to draw, so its always really fun.

aldrigo, if you use a PC, you can get a pretty nice 11x17 scanner off ebay for liek 160 bucks ( the mustek A3 large format). it picks up greys very well. if its jsut pencils and inks you want at a large scale, its perfet. but i guess if oyu wanted higher color definition, you might want ot shop around.

steven, thanks for stopping by, sorry i missed you in SanDiego, i actually left early sunday so wasnt tehre the rest of the show.
the Gotham Girls piece along wiht most of the snowglbes peices are already sold, though.

the next show i will eb at will be in NYC in february.
will and wheels, you'd better start gettin your samples together!

agian, thanks all for stoping by
